THE FIRST PUBLIC PROCUREMENT THINK TANK TOOK PLACE

In October, the first Public Procurement Think Tank aimed at our office clients took place, focusing on the following topics:

  • Relying on indicators from another person;
  • Completeness of tender documents - what is actually needed and how much of the procurer's work is redundant or duplicative because the law already ensures it;
  • Selection of compliance conditions in the Public Procurement Register.

The Think Tank included representatives from various procurers, one of whom was Pilleriin Peedosk, the head of procurement unit at Elering AS. She stated, "The idea of bringing procurers together so that we can all gather wisdom and ideas not only from Kadri but also from each other was very apt - many heads are always better than one! On the one hand, it was comforting to hear that others have similar concerns, and on the other hand, it was even more enjoyable to share various tips on how to address these concerns among ourselves. I definitely intend to actively participate in future think tanks myself and recommend it to others!"

The second Think Tank, focusing on amendments to procurement contracts, will take place in January.

The Think Tank is a 1-2 hour brainstorming, discussion, and experience-sharing event focused on a specific question each time.

The event takes place at least once a quarter in Tallinn, both in person and on Teams.

Participation is free for clients.
